Dr. Andrij Fetsun
“Impact investing requires bold steps today for a sustainable future tomorrow!”
Between 2015 and 2018, I had the privilege of serving as the sole Portfolio Manager at Invest in Visions. During this tenure, I successfully grew the investment portfolio from its initial value of EUR 98 million to an EUR 700 million, effectively establishing the foundation and driving substantial growth.
In the year 2015 and 2016, I also served as the Fund Manager for the German Ukrainian Fund (SME Fund). I played a pivotal role in bolstering the fund’s brand awareness within the Ukrainian market, thereby creating a significant local presence.
In the face of the 2016 Currency Crisis in Tajikistan, I made a strategic decision to double our exposure in the country, an action that has resulted in a commendable 0% default rate to this date.
During the challenging years of 2020 and 2021, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, I led the global AfI team with diligence and resilience. Despite the obstacles posed by the worldwide lockdown, I successfully structured and disbursed debt transactions to Indian MFIs totaling EUR 94 million.
I possess a PhD in Aviation Engineering and am an alumnus of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management where I completed my Master of Finance.

2018
- Official incorporation of AfI in Germany’s trade register.
- Successful development of AFISAR© with the support of ex-Moody Manager.
- Participated in syndicate led by IFC.
2019
- Official authorization of loan generation procedures granted by the city of Frankfurt.
- Two ECB transactions structured to India.
- Signed the advisory agreement with a 1 billion EUR microfinance fund.
2020
- Facilitated the investments of 100mio. EUR in India during COVID.
2021
- Due Diligence and looking for Private Equity Investor.
2022
- To join our long term shareholders, ES Finance GmbH and Dr. Andrij Fetsun (founder of AfI) in enhancing the growth of AfI, we onboarded Munich based FS Invest Holding GmbH as a major equity shareholder in June 2022.
- Official Impact Management Partner for MFC.

- Onboarded LAH as a new client.
